Winter 2007

Wow, how's that for a long absence? My bad.
Our family is fantastic! We had a marvelous Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. With the holidays behind us, we are looking forward to lots of fun time in the snow. We don't have a whole bunch of snow right now, but I'm sure more is headed our way soon.
Ayden is in preschool again this year and he absolutely loves it. He asks me every day if he gets to go to school. It's awesome. He makes friends so easily and has a knack for spotting the kids who need friends the most. He has a girlfriend, but I've told him he can't get married until he's 30, so he might want to relax a bit!
Jade is so amazing. She learns so much every day (some good, some bad). She is still her big brother's biggest fan and follows him everywhere. She is addicted to her binkies and at any given time has one in her mouth, one in her hand and a couple in her pocket. We're working on it! Jade loves to play house and has lots of babies (not sure if we should be worried about that!)
Steve is plugging away at Chili's. He has had lots of changes in his management staff and is looking forward to the day when things calm down a little. He is also looking forward to spending some time snowboarding this year with Ayden. He works so hard to take care of us, we are really lucky to have him!
Me? Well, I stay home with the kids and am generally happy taking care of them and our home. We do lots of fun things together, but our favorite thing to do is play with our friends. I am also working hard at my Usborne Books business. I absolutely love the company and don't see myself quitting any time soon.
Some things that we have enjoyed the last few months: Steve and I went on a trip to Jackson Hole, we spent a week hunting with my dad and brothers, we took the kids to the Polar Express, and we have visited friends and family in SLC and Las Vegas. We stay pretty busy between trips and keeping up with stuff here at home- but we love every minute of it! We have made some amazing friends here in Cedar City, and reconnected with some friends from the past.
Check out our pictures, the kids are getting so big!
